The South West Hertfordshire Conservative Association runs the campaigning, organising and fund-raising functions of the South West Herts Parliamentary Constituency. We raise money to select, promote and campaign for candidates standing in our County, District/Borough, Parish & Town Council elections and in the Parliamentary election.  We do this independently on behalf of the Conservative Party and are not funded by Parliamentary expenses. The Association is run by an Executive Council of the members, and the day to day administration is carried out by The Chairman, two Deputies and the Treasurer.

As a member of the Association, you can seek nomination to stand as a Conservative candidate, help select our Parliamentary, County, District, Parish and Town Council candidates, vote in Party Leadership elections and become involved in fund raising and campaigning. You could take part in events ranging from virtual 'audiences' with leading politicians to Black-tie Galas and Barn Dances, join our Political Debating Forums, become active in Local and Parliamentary politics. We are volunteers seeking to advance the aims and policies of the Conservative Party.

Officers of the Association are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting and our 2020 management team is as follows;  Chair: Ian Reay,  Deputy Chair Political:  Abbas Merali , Treasurer: Mike Bruce, Deputy Chair Membership and Fundraising:  Richard Coles.
