Bedmond’s Conservative district councillors Ian Campbell and Vicky Edwards have secured a parking review for Bedmond after promises of a review from the Lib Dems that run Three Rivers District Council did not materialise for years.
Ian and Vicky launched their campaign to help residents concerned about dangerous junction parking, blocked footpaths, and a lack of parking for Toms Lane and High Street residents.
To secure the review, Vicky and Ian collected signatures from Bedmond residents and had the petition presented to Three Rivers District Council’s Public Services Committee.
The Council will write to Bedmond residents in the new few weeks to ask for views on parking issues and possible solutions such as: double yellow lines at junctions, whether more residents’ parking would improve or worsen matters, and restrictions against the garage to stop customers’ vehicles being parked outside residents’ homes and blocking pavements.
Please get in touch with Ian and Vicky if you have any problem parking in your area of Bedmond.
