Following the American administration’s unilateral move to take control of the fate of Ukraine and its declared intention to step back from its role of supporting the defence of Europe’s borders the world feels a lot more dangerous.
South West Hertfordshire Conservative Association are pleased to announce that James Cleverly MP, former Foreign and Home Secretary has agreed to provide his analysis of the current security situation facing European leaders at a Moor Park Mansion event on the evening of Tuesday 27th May 2025.
This will be an important opportunity to hear from someone who has been “in the room” when important issues affecting the security of Europe and the United Kingdom have been discussed. His insight and views on the changing security landscape and where it all may be heading will be engaging and insightful.
Location and timing
To be held at Moor Park Mansion on the evening of Tuesday 27th May 2025. There will be canapes from 7.00pm with the main event commencing at 7.30pm and finishing at 9.30pm.
Lieutenant Colonel, The Rt. Hon. James Cleverly TD VR MP (former Foreign and Home Secretary)
A graduate of the University of West London he was elected as Member of Parliament for Braintree in 2015. He served as Foreign Secretary under Prime Minister Liz Truss and Home Secretary under Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
He has been an army reservist since 1991 and currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel.
